Fantastic old building. Books appeared a bit out of order so difficult to find what I was looking for. Needed to spend much longer than I had to spare.
A very nice, friendly and exhaustive book store. You can expect to spend at least 15 minutes looking around this marvelous store. The owners are friendly and available to answer questions or offer reading recommendations. This is a cozy place so if you are fortunate to find yourself here in Winter or around Christmas then do your life a solid and come here.
An amazing book store not only for the amount of books inside (on 2 floors) but also for the building itself. All the books appear to be in great shape and are well curated. I purchased a volume from 1933 that was in good condition (not pristine) but well looked after. Obviously books are not the lightest thing to purchase when on holiday but this is still a great place to visit, and very close to the castle so why not?
