I have used Blackbridge furnishings several times for beds. Great selection, great prices and they deliver when they say they will.On a recent order for a bed, the supplier let them down with the colour of the base. Someone from the store phoned me in advance to tell me. They were going to deliver the different coloured one and let us use it until the correct one came. I offered to keep the one received if they would throw in a mirror which they accepted no problem! That's what I like about them, the ability to make decisions for themselves and not wait for head office.Strongly recommended!
My experience was appalling...i ordered a double bed & mattress over the phone to be told that they would get it in in 2 weeks & that it would get delivered on the Wednesday so i phoned nearer the time to confirm but she couldnt find my order so i phoned back later to give her a chance to look...she had put down the wrong postcode...ok so at least my bed was ordered but i wasnt going to get it now for another 2 weeks as she forgot that they didnt get deliveries on a certain Monday...ok fair enough at least my bed was still coming...so got a phone call on Mon 6th Aug to say my bed would get delivered Wed 8th between 1 & 3 great!!!...i organised my son to be there as i was working but after 3 i got a missed call which i returned to find that my bed wasnt going to get delivered til abt 5 so i let my son know...a text appeared on my phone to sayt it had arrived hooray though my excitement was cut short when i arrived home after 8.30 to unpack my new bed frame & find it was damaged...i burst into tears a bit dramatic maybe but all i wanted was my bed...so who is at fault...the suppliers?...the delivery guys?
My family and I were recently involved in a car accident outside one of Blackbridge Furnishings' stores.Two members of their staff took fantastic care of us, immediately offering to take us in, getting a drink for my wife, being kind to my children and even staying open late whilst the police dealt with the incident.Whilst this isn't related to their core business, I think such humanity reflects extremely well on the company.
