The passenger areas of the airport are generally well laid out and reasonably well organised, especially since they are currently being expanded. It's sometimes difficult to follow the announcements in the departure lounge, though ( not sure if its the sound systems or the enunciation), and the boarding procedure is similar to most airports, ie a bit of a rabble. The long stay car park is nearly half a mile from the terminal. Given that long stay passengers will have the most luggage, given the lack of a shuttle bus, and given the sometimes challenging weather, I think a bit more imagination in allocating parking is called for. Overall though, the experience is as good as many regional airports and better than most.
