Great location for Inverness or attractions nearby (North or South).The park benefits from not having a clubhouse with drunks passing by your caravan or tent late at night - it's so peaceful. Friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend!
One of the best experiences I ever had on a camp ground. We called ahead just a few hours before we got there and got told that if we arrived after closing time we could just pick a spot to park our campervan and pay the next day. So we did exactly that. Only met staff once, while paying. The lady at the reception was very friendly.The showers were amazing and mostly clean, as was the kitchen which was stocked with sinks, an electric kettle, a microwave, a washing machine and drier, as well of plenty long lasting foods like cereal and canned vegetables that were left behind by other campers. All in all, a very nice camping ground with more than reasonable prices.
Close to Inverness, but well out of the city in the countryside, just a short blast down the A9. Owners are great. Excellent, clean facilities and even better prices. I have stayed here several times already. Perfect base for exploring the area.
Love this place. It is very quiet here. We were in the chalet this time which I was dubious about but it turned out to be one of my best ever stays in a caravan park. The chalet was comfortable, very clean and had recently been refurbished. If you are staying in a static or chalet you don't have to worry about bringing towels, toilet roll or cleaning equipment to clean your dishes. There is even teabags, coffee, sugar, cooking oil (and spray) and salt and pepper, they all have whirly gig washing lines outside too. From what I saw of the camping facilities (I just had a quick look). There is a washing machine, or sinks to wash dishes and or clothes and a tumble dryer. This room also contains books and comics. A kettle and toaster and tea bags and coffee for the campers so they can have hot food and drink if they so desire. Our chalet was at the very edge of the park and felt very private. It was a perfect break for us.
Fantastic campsite. Quiet, well positioned for all sorts of things to go see and do, and very well looked after. The toilets and laundry facilities are the cleanest I've found at any campsite anywhere, and the showers are more like what you'd get at a four star hotel! Very reasonable prices too.
