Good stock of bikes and accessories but staff could be more helpful.

Easy parking, helpful staff and a fair range of bikes and accessories. Seemed a bit pricy though.

I have experience great customer service on a number of occasions while dealing with Jesse and the rest of the team in the workshop. I had a warranty problem with my bike which was bought at Alpine Bikes. They were most helpful and dealt with the problem promptly and without fuss. Great knowledgeable staff, who are happy to help.Mark

I needed a headset for a frame that I am building up, and took it took them so they could size it for me, and then I could purchase the correct headset from them. From the beginning things were not good, and they did not have a digital measuring tool, but all was not lost, as they did have a measuring gauge. They measured the top and bottom of the head tube and told me that it was a tapered head head tube. I questioned this as it was clear from the shop that I brought the frame from that it wasn't taper, and told them that it was 1 1/8 standard. They assured me it wasn't and I had to purchase a top, and bottom separate to the tune of 58.I was happy as long as it was a quality product, and went home to fit it.Got home, and the bottom headset I was sold was the wrong size, surprize surprize.I went online to try and find out what I need, and it became clear that I was given the wrong information by these monkeys, but I had been massively ripped off. The top headset was 30, and RRP is around 20, and the complete headset that I needed had a RRP of 35 for exactly the same type.Went back to the shop, and they offered to give me the correct headset, for the price of 50. I almost told him to poke it, but calmly stated that the RRP is around 35.He disagreed, and said that was the lower model that I was looking at, and to prove this he got out the sales book to show me. On opening the book, he had to eat his words as it clearly stated that the RRP was 35. He then said that they had priced it up incorrectly, but without even saying sorry. I will happily offer it to you for 35, to which I told him that I wanted a full refund, and would go somewhere else. The mechanic looked surprised and became extremely rude. BE VERY CAREFUL OF BUYING FROM THESE CLOWNS!!!!!The mark up on the goods here is crazy, and even when found out they seem to think that they are doing you a favour by selling it to you at the RRP which I had to find off the internet. Don't even get me started on their rubbish technical help, and poor mechanical knowledge!!I am sick of the high street saying that the internet is killing them, when they are killing themselves, with mindless greed, and thinking that the general public are all mugs.STAY AWAY FROM THIS UN-PROFESSIONAL BIKE SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
