Was there today to buy my 3rd car from them and they are an amazing family business that always puts the customer first
Excellent service, staff are very helpful, put my car in for repair under warranty and was dropped off in town to shop and collected at my convenience. Nothing is too much trouble. We have bought two cars there, you never feel pressurised and nothing is too much trouble.
Continuing lack of care for your car, with a very mixed service from staff.Having had great service whilst shopping for a car a while back despite not making a purchase, i have been very disappointed with the service department. Had some warranty work booked with another dealers before moving to the area and booked it in to be completed at Dicksons. When i dropped it off, found out they would only be assessing the work that day, not sure why they needed it so long. When I went to pick it up, the work had been approved and it was booked in for the work to be completed. When the car was brought round i noticed a scrape had been put into the lower front bumper. I made this known and the service manager agreed that when it came in for the warranty work the damage would be sorted. I took it in, warranty work completed, scrape masterfully sorted and all was good, until i noticed fresh chip, complete with flakes of paint on the wheel arch. Not of massive significance, the car had several chips the same sort of size, but i was annoyed at the lack of care shown towards the car. I again mentioned it and the dealership manager, agreed it was new and apologised. As we stood there the service manager came by, who had been so helpful before and despite the evidence, point blank refused that the damage had been done there, pretty much insinuating i was a liar. The front of the car had been washed and the damage had been done since then, in their possesion, I could not believe the way i was being spoken to. Another apology from the branch manager and an agreement that i would be sent a touch up kit, which was fine for me.A month or so later and nothing has arrived and I'm left to chase up the issue.I have no doubt that there are some excellent staff there, but a lack of attention to detail meant my needs weren't originally listened to and my car was damaged twice. It will be an epic trip to take the car to the next nearest dealership, but if i can't expect it to be taken care of at Dicksons i feel i have no choice.
This is the best car dealership in Inverness. I wouldn't give my business to anyone else. First-class customer service every time.
A great welcome from staff who were very helpful and informative. David Gray, (no smirking at the back!) talked us through all aspects of our Motability car and we had quite a laugh while arranging it. It was a very enjoyable experience and I recommend them thoroughly.
